A note on the use of mathematics in thermodynamics

The presentation deals with the role and significance of the logical-mathematical use in the first two laws of contemporary thermodynamics theory. The focus on the 1st and 2nd law, respectively is not because the 3rd law is less important, but due to the fact the 3rd law, stating the impossibility of reaching the absolute zero temperature, does not play such a fundamental role as two first law do. Thus, a fundamental logical status of the 1st and 2nd law of thermodynamics, respectively, are related to the concept of energy conservation and entropy.
